Due to extremely dry conditions, a total open air fire ban is now in place across Perth County, including the City of Stratford.

All outdoor fires that are not in a contained campfire pit.

Recreational campfires contained in a fire pit are currently allowed at Wildwood. We will post any further updates on our website, social media and via notices through the campground.

Seasonal Camping

Camping is available on a seasonal basis

All forms of smoking are prohibited in all public spaces within Wildwood Conservation Area. Smoking is only permitted on a registered campsite or in a designated area. Smoke free overnight sites have been designated for those who wish to camp without having anyone smoking on adjacent sites.

Please check the Visitors Guide maps for the designated areas and smoke free campsites. Staff continue to evaluate other smoke free initiatives.

Wildwood Trails

Wildwood's four hiking and biking trails range in length from 1.2 km to the 24 km Lake Trail.
 

Please remember trail etiquette -

take only pictures,

leave only footprints,

use only marked trails!

Boating and more...

Wildwood Reservoir is open from dawn until dusk during the operating season. All boaters use the reservoir at their own risk. Reservoir maps are available at the gatehouse and show the restricted areas.
